Zangilan:A total of 46.3 million kWh of electricity has been generated at the Sarigishlag Small Hydroelectric Power Plant in Zangilan since its commissioning.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the Sarigishlag facility, which is a pressure derivation-type plant with a capacity of 10.5 MW, began operations on October 3, 2024. The plant is located on the Okhchuchay River.

The Ministry of Energy highlights that from its commissioning up until October 1, 2026, the power plant has produced 46.3 million kWh of electricity. The operation of such small hydroelectric power plants aids in diversifying energy sources and reducing the environmental impact by utilizing renewable energy.
