Baku: Emin Huseynov, the Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts, emphasized the predominance of alternative energy sources in Garabagh and East Zangezur. His remarks were made during the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Huseynov stated that the primary source of electricity in these regions comes from alternative energy. He highlighted the role of hydroelectric power plants in establishing a sustainable economic base. Additionally, Huseynov mentioned ongoing projects for solar and wind power plants, being developed in collaboration with various partners. He explained that each project undergoes individual analysis before implementation.
