Washington: Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov held a meeting at the White House with Jarrod Agen, Executive Director of the National Energy Dominance Council, Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov posted on his X account, APA-Economics reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Shahbazov and Agen exchanged views on the strategic importance of the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP) in ensuring interregional energy connectivity. Their discussions focused on energy interconnectors between Azerbaijan, Trkiye, Central Asia, and Europe, as well as the establishment of data centers and their energy supply.

The Azerbaijani minister also engaged in discussions with the Secretary of Energy Chris Wright. They explored advancing the energy partnership to a new stage, reviewing Azerbaijan’s role in delivering oil and gas resources to international markets. Additionally, they discussed the development of the Southern Gas Corridor and the Green Energy Corridors, and assessed potential cooperation opportunities.
