Washington:The English edition of Professor Farida Safiyeva's book 'Iravan Through the Language of Historical Documents' was presented at the House of Azerbaijan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the event was supported financially by the Agency on State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan. A video about the book was also screened during the presentation.

Professor Safiyeva discussed the scientific content, purpose, and primary research directions of the book, which is her third work dedicated to Iravan. The publication relies heavily on archival materials, historical documents, photographs, letters, and private archives.

The book explores the history of ten prominent Azerbaijani families from Iravan, tracing their genealogies and cultural contributions. It includes materials that illuminate the historical and cultural environment of Iravan. Additionally, five articles at the end of the book delve into the lives of notable figures linked to Iravan.

During her visit to Washington, two of Professor Safiyeva's books were added to the Library of Congress catalog, and she received a library membership card.
