Kapital Bank Finances Energy Efficiency Project with Solar Panels

Baku:Kapital Bank has initiated an energy efficiency project in collaboration with the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA), marking the first venture financed through the Energy Efficiency Fund. This project involves the installation of solar panels and aims to save around 50,000 cubic meters of natural gas annually while preventing 100 tons of carbon emissions.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the installation of solar panels by active consumers is designed to promote renewable energy usage. The initiative is expected to enhance the efficient use of energy resources and reduce environmental impact, reflecting the practical implementation of the cooperation agreement between Kapital Bank and AERA.

The project is a significant step towards expanding cooperation in energy efficiency measures, supported by concessional loans from the Energy Efficiency Fund. Kapital Bank is also actively involved in green financing, supporting projects such as solar panel installations and electric vehicle charging stations. As part of PASHA Holding, Kapital Bank has the largest service network in Azerbaijan, offering various financial products and services across the country.
