BAKU — In the upcoming UEFA Champions League play-off return match, English referee Michael Oliver will take the helm for the game between Azerbaijan’s FC Qarabag and Croatia’s Dinamo Zagreb, set to unfold at Baku’s Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Oliver will be joined by a team of fellow English officials. Assistants Stuart Burt and Lee Betts will be on the sidelines, while Chris Kavanagh will serve as the fourth official. Further support will come from Stuart Attwell and Timothy Wood, who are assigned as the video assistant referee (VAR) and assistant VAR referee, respectively. The match, which is a critical fixture for both teams aiming to secure their place in the Champions League group stages, is scheduled for 20:45 Baku time on August 28.
