Baku: The EU and Azerbaijan discussed the peace agenda, regional connections, and partnership issues, as shared by Gert Jan Koopman, Director-General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighborhood Policy, during his visit to Baku, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Koopman stated that he met with presidential aides Hikmet Hajiyev and Elchin Amirbekov. They exchanged views on demining, EU support in socio-economic development, and the next stages of coordination on the Middle Corridor.

Koopman described the meetings as constructive and useful discussions, highlighting the importance of ongoing cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan in addressing regional challenges and enhancing mutual partnerships.
