Baku: The resolution on the situation in Azerbaijan, violation of human rights and international law and relations with Armenia, recently adopted by the European Parliament, once again targets Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the country's parliament, said during today's plenary session of the parliament in Baku, Trend reports. According to Trend News Agency, the speaker emphasized that the European Parliament has already demonstrated its anti-Azerbaijani stance. "Following this, the Azerbaijani parliament expressed its firm position, which was published in the press. The European Parliament, through this behavior, challenges the sovereignty of our state," she added. To note, the resolution was adopted by 453 votes in favor, 31 against, with 89 abstentions on October 24.
