Baku: The city of Baku is currently buzzing with the excitement of the 15th European TeamGym Championship, being held in Azerbaijan’s National Gymnastics Arena. Icelandic gymnast Eva Thorsteinsdotti expressed high spirits about the atmosphere at the venue, emphasizing the positive energy that it brings to the participants.

According to Trend News Agency, Thorsteinsdotti, who is visiting Azerbaijan for the first time, shared her admiration for the country and the intense competition at the event. “Azerbaijan is an interesting and beautiful country. I am very happy to be here. There is a very intense struggle at the competition; professional athletes perform. I believe that our team performed well in general,” she remarked.

The championship, taking place from October 16 through 19, has seen a robust participation with teams from across Europe, including the Czech Republic, Denmark, Austria, Estonia, Finland, Great Britain, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Norway, and Sweden. Additionally
