European Union Delegation Opens ‘Water Unites Us All’ Photo Exhibition.


Baku: The European Union (EU) Delegation to Azerbaijan, in cooperation with the Embassies of EU Member States, is set to host the ‘Water Unites Us All’ photo exhibition. This event is part of the fifth edition of the ‘FantazEU’ Cultural Heritage Festival and aligns with one of Azerbaijan’s initiatives for the upcoming COP29 conference, which the country will host.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the exhibition features contributions from the Embassies of Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czechia, France, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Sweden. The photographs showcase stunning images of water in various forms, such as waterfalls, rivers, and fountains that enhance European cities.

EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan Peter Michalko emphasized the exhibition’s dual focus on art and ecology. He highlighted the significance of water resources, noting their essential role in sustaining life, regulating the climate, and supporting economic activities like agriculture and en
ergy production. The exhibition underscores the importance of water conservation as COP29 approaches in Baku.

The ‘Water Unites Us All’ exhibition will be accessible to the public at no cost from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, November 7 to 10, at the ‘Fabrica’ Gallery, located at 154B Nizami Street, near the Landmark Business Center.
