Baku: Azerbaijan has favorable conditions for decarbonization, stated Cody Wood, executive director of Schlumberger, during his speech on the second day of the event held as part of the Baku Climate Action Week.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Cody Wood emphasized that Schlumberger is actively involved in decarbonization projects across various regions globally and expressed interest in applying their technology in Azerbaijan. He highlighted the necessity for research to explore the country’s underground geothermal resources.
