Uzbekistan Aims to Enhance Knowledge of Azerbaijan Through Media Collaboration

Baku: “It is very important to learn from the experience gained by Azerbaijan. From a practical point of view, we would like to learn from the habits you have acquired,” stated Dilshod Saidjanov, head of the communications department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, during the II Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Media Forum on “Digital Transformation and Media”, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Saidjanov emphasized the significance of the Media Forum Platform, highlighting its role in bringing together scientists and leading figures in the media field. He stressed the importance of such events between countries, advocating for efforts to increase mutual knowledge about Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan and vice versa. He also underscored the need to expand opportunities for cooperation between bloggers and other media sectors of the two nations.

Saidjanov acknowledged the pivotal role of artificial intelligence in the information age, noting that countries are prioritizing this area as a key focus. He pointed out the necessity for bloggers to engage actively in this process, identifying it as an important issue.

Recent developments in Uzbekistan’s media sector were also mentioned, including the abolition of control over mass media. Saidjanov highlighted the familiarity with important legislative issues and stressed that while the increase in the number of mass media outlets is positive, it must be accompanied by improved content quality.
