Baku: On November 18, a meeting and masterclass with the well-known Uzbek miniature artist Jahongir Ashurov was held, organized by the ‘Icherisheher’ State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration, and afterward, an exhibition consisting of the artist’s works was opened, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva, Arzu Aliyeva, and Alena Aliyeva, as well as figures of art, took part in the event. The exhibition showcases the intricate and culturally significant works of Ashurov, highlighting the traditional art form of miniature painting from Uzbekistan. The event is a part of ongoing efforts to promote cultural exchange and appreciation of the arts between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
