Baku: Another 21 hectares of land will be added to Central Park in Baku, and a large artificial lake will be created. Although the current area of Central Park in Baku makes up approximately 36 hectares, in the fourth phase, an additional area of about 21 hectares around the Nizami metro station will be added to the park, said Ramiz Idrisoglu, the press secretary of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the fourth phase being implemented is considered the most extensive and conceptually rich part of the park. In order to optimize traffic flow, the establishment of an underground parking facility within the park’s territory is planned, the Committee representative emphasized.
