Istanbul: Trkiye’s well-known singer Serdar Orta§ has been sentenced to 10 months in prison. The sentence comes amidst allegations that the singer was involved in engaging in and promoting illegal gambling activities.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the court initially sentenced Orta§ to a one-year prison term. However, this was reduced to 10 months after Orta§ expressed remorse for his involvement in the crime. Despite the sentence, the singer will not serve time behind bars.

In addition to the prison sentence, Serdar Orta§ was fined 400 Turkish Lira. The case has drawn significant attention due to Orta§’s prominence in the Turkish music scene.
