Baku: A farewell ceremony for People’s Artist Haji Murad Yagizarov is being held at the Tazapir Mosque. President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva have sent a wreath to honor the esteemed artist.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Yagizarov will be laid to rest at the II Alley of Honor. The renowned artist, who was also a recipient of the State Prize, passed away on September 13 in Munich, Germany, after battling a long illness. His body was brought back to Azerbaijan earlier today.
