The Aghdam Horses went into the playoff second leg with a commanding 3-1 lead from the first match. In front of a home crowd at the Tofiq Bahramov Stadium in Baku, they secured their place on aggregate.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Leandro Andrade and Abdellah Zoubir both found the net for Qarabag, while Ferencv¡ros' goals came from Lenny Joseph, Barnab¡s Varga (penalty), and Alex T³th.
