Baku: The feasibility study for the Central Asia-Azerbaijan energy corridor project is expected to be completed in May 2027, Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov stated while speaking at the 31st Baku Energy Forum, APA-Economics reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, work on the project, financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), is ongoing, and the feasibility study is scheduled to be completed in May next year.

'The completion of the next important stage is planned for July this year,' the minister noted. He added that the Azerbaijan-Trkiye energy hub project, including initiatives implemented through Nakhchivan, as well as the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Trkiye-Bulgaria electricity corridor projects, have already entered an active phase.

According to the minister, the strategic partnership and leading role of Azerbaijan and Trkiye serve as the main driving force behind the advancement of these projects.
