Baku: FIFA referee Elchin Masiyev has received his next appointment, Apasport.az reports, citing AFFA. Masiyev will serve as the head referee for the ‘Genk’ (Belgium) vs. ‘Betis’ (Spain) match in the third round of the UEFA Europa League group stage.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Masiyev will be assisted by Elshad Abdullayev and Parvin Talibov. Tural Gurbanov will serve as the fourth official. German referee Robert Schr¶der will act as VAR, while fellow Azerbaijani Nicat Ismayilli will serve as AVAR.

The match is scheduled to take place on October 23 at the Genk Stadium in the city of the same name.
