Baku: Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have successfully executed bilateral freight transportation using the “e-Permit” electronic permit system, the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) informed APA-Economics.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, an Uzbek carrier’s freight vehicle arrived in Azerbaijan on January 27. Earlier, on January 14, a vehicle from Azerbaijan completed freight transportation to Uzbekistan utilizing an electronic permit.

The information also indicates plans to gradually implement the electronic exchange and issuance of “Permit” forms with other countries engaged in international freight transportation activities.
