Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev extended his congratulations to President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China in light of the upcoming Spring Festival, as reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev expressed his well-wishes for the Chunjie Festival, which signals the start of a new year in the Chinese calendar and represents renewal and nature’s awakening. In his letter, he acknowledged the strategic partnership level achieved in Azerbaijan-China relations, emphasizing the significance of developing cooperation based on mutual trust and confidence. Aliyev voiced his optimism about continuing joint efforts to deepen the friendship and cooperation between the two nations, in accordance with the aspirations of their peoples.

President Aliyev also extended his sincere congratulations on the festive occasion, wishing President Xi good health, happiness, and success, while also wishing the people of China continued peace and prosperity.
