Baku: On July 31, First Lady of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva, together with First Lady of the Kyrgyz Republic Aigul Zhaparova and First Lady of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ziroatkhon Mirziyoyeva, visited the 'Altyn Balalyk' Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cholpon-Ata.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the 'Altyn Balalyk' Health and Rehabilitation Center, operational since May 2022, is focused on providing medical and rehabilitation services to children, as well as offering recreational opportunities. The center accommodates 136 rooms and 800 beds, and every summer, it hosts between 8,000 to 8,500 children from Kyrgyzstan and neighboring regions. During the months from September to June, the center is dedicated to the rehabilitation of children with disabilities.
