Baku: First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva made a post on her official Instagram account on the occasion of Victory Day, APA reports. In her post, she extended heartfelt congratulations to her compatriots, marking the fifth anniversary of the significant victory achieved in the Patriotic War.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Mehriban Aliyeva expressed gratitude towards the President, as well as the country’s soldiers and officers, for their roles in enabling the Azerbaijani nation to celebrate this day with pride. She acknowledged the sacrifices made by the martyrs who gave their lives for the Motherland and offered prayers for their souls.

The First Vice-President also invoked blessings for the protection of the Azerbaijani people and the Motherland, emphasizing the importance of unity and resilience as the country commemorates this pivotal moment in its history.
