First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva Visits Ganja City’s Perinatal Center


Ganja: First Vice-President and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, together with her daughters Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva, visited the Perinatal Center of Ganja City United Hospital on March 6.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the hospital’s director, Ilkin Ismayilov, provided insights into the center’s operations, emphasizing its role in serving the residents of Ganja and the surrounding regions. The Perinatal Center is known for delivering diagnostic, consultation, and treatment services tailored for expectant mothers and newborns.



During the visit, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation made significant contributions by donating incubators and an ultrasound machine to the center. Furthermore, the Foundation extended its generosity by presenting gifts to new mothers during visits to their newborns.



The Foundation’s commitment to healthcare is evident through its numerous initiatives. It actively supports the sector with projects like ‘Highest Care for Children with Diabetes,’ ‘For a Life Without Thalassemia,’ and ‘Reconstruction and Construction of Medical Establishments,’ alongside various charity initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare services.
