Baku: FK Qarabag have learned their opponent in the UEFA Champions League knockout phase play-off following the draw held on Friday in Nyon, Switzerland. The Azerbaijani champions will face Newcastle United FC in the play-off round, with a place in the Round of 16 at stake.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, other knockout phase play-off pairings are as follows: Galatasaray from Trkiye will face Juventus from Italy, Borussia Dortmund from Germany will compete against Atalanta from Italy, and Olympiacos from Greece will take on Bayer Leverkusen from Germany. Club Brugge of Belgium is set to challenge Atletico Madrid from Spain, while AS Monaco from France will meet Paris Saint-Germain, also from France. Benfica from Portugal will confront Real Madrid from Spain, and Bod¸/Glimt from Norway will play against Inter Milan from Italy.

The first-leg matches are scheduled for February 17-18, with the return legs planned for February 24-25. FK Qarabag will host the first match in Baku.
