FM Bayramov Attends Informal Meeting of Council of Foreign Ministers of OTS

Antalya: Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov participated in and delivered a speech at the informal meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), held as part of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Minister Bayramov positively assessed the regular holding of informal meetings of the Council of Foreign Ministers. He emphasized the importance of this format for open and effective discussion of issues on the organization's agenda and for exchanging views on rapidly changing global and regional processes.

The Minister noted that the current period is characterized by deep transformation processes in the international relations system, increasing geopolitical fragmentation, growing uncertainties in global governance, and the escalation of conflicts and crises in different regions. He stated that the role of the OTS is becoming even more relevant in this context.

Highlighting the strength of the OTS, FM Bayramov pointed out its unity, shared values, and common vision. He expressed confidence that further expanding cooperation will enhance the organization's role in addressing regional and global challenges.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the impact of the crisis against the backdrop of recent developments in the Middle East on regional security, global and regional supply chains, as well as economic and investment relations. The participants emphasized the importance of real and sustainable strategies to ensure that the progress achieved through ceasefire and mediation efforts leads to lasting peace.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
