Former Arab League Secretary-General: 21st-Century Global Security Is Evolving

Baku: Former Secretary-General of the Arab League Amre Moussa highlighted the transformation of global security in the 21st century during a panel session at the 13th Global Baku Forum. The session, titled 'Global Security and Balance of Power: Respect for International Law - New Issues, New Challenges,' addressed the widening divides between the Global North and South and the complex challenges faced by the Global South, contributing to the increasingly multifaceted nature of global security.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Moussa stressed the importance of defining the Global South's stance and strategic decisions in relation to the evolving global order. He stated that understanding the role of security in shaping this new order is essential to establishing the parameters of global security. The forum aimed to dissect these issues and explore the implications for international law and power dynamics.
