Former U.S. Ambassador Highlights Trump’s Potential Role in Armenia-Azerbaijan Peace


Washington: U.S. President Donald Trump has a significant opportunity to broker peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, according to former U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan and former OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair Matthew Bryza. In an interview with Vesti.az, as reported by APA, Bryza emphasized the potential for Trump to play a crucial role in establishing peace in the region.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Bryza noted that both Azerbaijan and Armenia are on the verge of a peace agreement. He highlighted the challenges faced by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is encountering serious political resistance. Bryza expressed hope that Trump would be willing to contribute to the peace process.



Bryza further mentioned that Trump is currently concentrating on consolidating his power in Washington, while also aiming to facilitate peace between Ukraine and Russia.
