Baku: Four Azerbaijani referees have been appointed to take charge of matches at the U17 World Wrestling Championship scheduled to be held in Baku from July 27 to August 2 at the National Gymnastics Arena. I S category referee Sadi Guliyev, together with I category referees Kamran Aliyev, Ali Babayev, and Zaur Sharifov, will officiate the week-long competition on behalf of Azerbaijan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, a total of 68 referees will be on duty to oversee the bouts of the championship. These appointments highlight the involvement of local expertise in the international sporting event, which will see young wrestlers from around the world competing in various categories.
