Caspian sea: An earthquake has occurred in the Caspian Sea, the Earthquake Research Bureau of the Republican Seismological Service Center under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences told APA. The quake was recorded at 18:11 local time. The underground tremor had a magnitude of 3.5 and occurred at a depth of 51 km.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this seismic event marks the fourth earthquake recorded in the Caspian Sea today. The earlier tremors were detected at 13:05, 13:10, and 13:21 local time. The first earthquake was felt with an intensity of 3-4 in several regions, including Lankaran, Yardimli, Lerik, Astara, Jalilabad, and Neftchala.
