Freedom Bank Tajikistan Granted License to Operate in National and Foreign Currencies


BAKU: The National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) has officially granted a banking license to Freedom Bank Kazakhstan’s subsidiary, Freedom Bank Tajikistan. This authorization enables the newly established bank to conduct operations in both national and foreign currencies.

According to Trend News Agency, the license was presented during a ceremony where NBT Chairman Firdavs Tolibzoda and Acting Chairman of Freedom Bank Tajikistan Dauren Nissinbayev discussed the future prospects of the bank in Tajikistan. The discussions aimed at exploring various strategic opportunities including attracting deposits, issuing loans, opening additional branches across the country, and enhancing the overall banking services with a focus on digital transformation.

Nissinbayev expressed a commitment to considering all opportunities, suggestions, and recommendations to solidify Freedom Bank Tajikistan’s presence in the local market. The entry of Freedom Bank into the Tajikistan market was first announced in January 2024. Parent compan
