French Participant Expresses Strong Connection to Azerbaijan at Diaspora Youth Camp

Khankendi: “My father is from Senegal, and my mother is Turkish. I currently live in Paris. I have always known Azerbaijan as a brotherly country. My mother has always given me detailed information about Azerbaijan,” said Ibrahim Diawara, a participant from France, speaking to APA at the opening of the 6th Diaspora Youth Summer Camp dedicated to the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty” held in the city of Khankendi.

According to Azeri-Press news Agency, Diawara noted that this was his first visit to Karabakh. “I have been closely following the Karabakh war for a long time. Now that I have come here, what I have seen is very beautiful. Khankendi is being rebuilt. I think it will take time for Karabakh to recover. I hope that these places will be beautiful in the coming years. Azerbaijan will cope with this,” he shared. The event aims to strengthen ties among the diaspora and highlight the cultural and historical significance of Azerbaijan.
