Istanbul: Galatasaray secured a 2-0 victory over Trabzonspor on Saturday in the Turkish Super Lig, strengthening their lead at the top of the table, APA reports citing Trkiye Today.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, defender Abdulkerim Bardakci put Galatasaray ahead in the 66th minute with a header from a corner kick. Alvaro Morata doubled the lead in the 84th minute, converting a pass from Yunus Akgun.

With the win, Galatasaray extended their unbeaten streak to five matches, bringing their total points to 86. Trabzonspor remained at 46 points after back-to-back losses.
