Galatasaray: Galatasaray defeated Erzurumspor 4-0 away in the second round of the Turkish Football Championship, APA reports. The winning team's goals were scored by Roland Shallai in the 12th minute, Yunus Akgn in the 20th minute, and Victor Osimhen, who netted twice in the 45th and 79th minutes.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Galatasaray played its first match after signing Russian midfielder Alexei Batrakov to a five-year contract. However, the player did not participate in the match. On Friday, HT Spor reported that Batrakov had returned to training at Galatasaray's training center in Istanbul's Kemerburgaz district.

Galatasaray secured their first win of the season after drawing at home against Corum on the first matchday. The Istanbul club, the reigning Turkish champions, earned four points and topped the standings. Erzurumspor, on the other hand, suffered their second consecutive defeat and are now at the bottom of the league, sitting in 18th place with no points.

In the next round, Galatasaray will host G¶ztepe on August 29, while Erzurumspor will play against Gen§lerbirligi away the day before.
