Baku:The 6th Azerbaijan International Exhibition for the Restoration, Reconstruction, and Development of Garabagh, known as 'Rebuild Garabagh - 2026,' commenced in Baku on October 14 as part of Caspian Construction Week. The event, running until October 16, gathers government bodies, companies, and industry professionals to discuss initiatives for the restoration, reconstruction, and sustainable development of Garabagh and East Zangezur.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Garabagh Revival Fund (GRF) is actively participating in the exhibition to inform attendees about restoration projects in the liberated territories and to promote charitable giving. The Fund's stand provides detailed insights into ongoing restoration efforts under President Ilham Aliyev's leadership, along with information about the Fund's initiatives to financially support these projects. Special videos highlighting the Fund's work are also being screened.
Visitors to the GRF stand can engage with the 'Pearls of Garabagh' puzzle game, which features both historical monuments and new constructions post-Patriotic War. This engaging activity educates visitors about Garabagh's cultural heritage and modern developments. This year, a quiz has been introduced, allowing participants to test their knowledge about Garabagh's history, culture, and notable figures.
A dedicated area at the stand displays photographs of Garabagh's cultural heritage and landscapes, alongside excerpts from poems, folk songs, and quotes from speeches by Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev, creating an immersive experience.
Rahman Hajiyev, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Fund, provided comprehensive information about the GRF's projects to various officials, including Masim Mammadov, Bashir Hajiyev, Dovletkhan Dovletkhanov, Elbay Gasimzade, Luca Di Gianfrancesco, and Farid Mammadov, among others.
The exhibition also features the 'Revival of Garabagh The Story of Azerbaijan's Renaissance' photo exhibition, showcasing the region's restoration efforts. 'Rebuild Garabagh' stands as the sole specialized exhibition for Garabagh's restoration, aiming to enhance public-private partnerships and inspire businesses to invest in the region's recovery and development. Visitors are encouraged to explore the exhibition to learn more and contribute to Garabagh's restoration endeavors.
