Garadagh: An event was held on the occasion of producing 1 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity at the 230 MW Garadagh Solar Power Plant, APA-Economics reports. Officials from the Ministry of Energy, “Azerenerji” JSC, and the United Arab Emirates’ “Masdar” company participated in the event.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Garadagh Solar Power Plant produces approximately 500 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, supplying green energy to 110,000 households. This milestone underscores the plant’s role in advancing sustainable energy solutions in the region.

The Garadagh facility, with its significant annual output, continues to contribute to the diversification of energy sources and the reduction of carbon emissions. The collaboration between local and international entities highlights the importance of global partnerships in the pursuit of renewable energy goals.
