Baku: The volume of gas produced from the Shah Deniz field since the first production until the end of 2025 has reached 264 billion cubic meters, APA-Economics reports, citing BP.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the volume of condensate production was 52 million tons.
It was noted that last year, subsea activities continued in the remaining wells on the eastern-northern flank of the "Shah Deniz 2" project. "Since the adoption of the final investment decision, the Shah Deniz Compression (SDC) project has progressed with the award of a number of large contracts. Construction work on these contracts is continuing according to schedule. The project marked a significant milestone in September by performing the first steel cutting for the upper modules of the SDC platform," BP added.
