Baku: Last year, 40,235.6 million cubic meters of gas were transported through Azerbaijan's main gas pipelines, marking a slight decrease of 0.3% compared to the previous year, as reported by the State Statistical Committee.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, 57.5% of this gas transportation was conducted via the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum South Caucasus Pipeline. This pipeline is crucial for exporting gas produced at the Shah Deniz gas-condensate field.
During the reporting period, 23,143.9 million cubic meters of gas were transmitted through the South Caucasus Pipeline, indicating a 1.3% increase in transportation through this specific route.
