Gazprom Warns of Low Gas Reserves in Europe Ahead of Winter

Accra:Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller has indicated that European countries are experiencing historically low levels of underground gas storage as they approach the challenging autumn-winter season.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, Miller emphasized that European Union countries are facing unprecedented lows in their gas reserves, raising concerns about the upcoming colder months.

Gas reserves in Europe's underground storage facilities remain below previous critical minimum levels. As of October 1, these facilities were only 72% full, with the volume of active gas 11.3 billion cubic meters lower than it was on the same date last year.
