Baku: The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, made a phone call to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, to express strong condemnation of a recent drone attack on the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. The attack, carried out using unmanned aerial vehicles by the Islamic Republic of Iran, has been met with solidarity from Georgia, as the Georgian Premier conveyed his best wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Ilham Aliyev expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze for the supportive phone call and the position taken by Georgia. During their conversation, the leaders also discussed the potential for enhancing bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia, along with other mutual interests.
