Baku: Georgia earned $59.5 million from visits by travelers from Azerbaijan in the second quarter of this year. According to Azeri-Press news agency, this figure represents a 10.3% increase compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, Georgia’s total revenue from international travel decreased by 3.8% year-on-year to $1.1 billion. The largest shares of tourism revenue came from European Union countries with $194.9 million, followed by Russia with $182.8 million, Turkey with $134.9 million, and Israel with $123.8 million.
