Baku: "The ongoing peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as efforts to normalize relations between Trkiye and Armenia, are encouraging. This creates prospects for greater stability and cooperation across our wider region," Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili said at the 67th plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC), APA's local bureau reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Papuashvili highlighted the significant potential that the region holds to enhance its role as a hub for trade, transport, energy, and digital connectivity. He emphasized that the current period should be seen not only as a time of challenges but also as an era ripe with new opportunities for cooperation.

Papuashvili pointed to the recent full commissioning of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway as an example of beneficial cooperation. This joint strategic project between Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Trkiye serves as a shared contribution to the region's development, showcasing the tangible benefits of collaborative efforts.
