Nearly 100 bcm of Azerbaijani Gas Transported via TANAP to Date

Baku: A total of 99.6 billion cubic meters (bcm) of Azerbaijani natural gas has been transported through the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) since it was commissioned. This information was reported by APA-Economics, citing the Ministry of Energy.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, 39.6 bcm of this volume has been exported to Trkiye. The ministry highlighted that today marks the eighth anniversary of the start of commercial gas deliveries from Azerbaijan to Trkiye via TANAP under the Shah Deniz 2 project.

The statement from the ministry emphasized that TANAP is an important component of the Southern Gas Corridor and is regarded as an indispensable infrastructure project for ensuring energy security.
