Tbilisi:Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili emphasized the importance of Georgia in the "Trump Route" project during an appearance on Imedi TV's "Imedi Live" program.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, Botchorishvili stated that Georgia is a crucial player in terms of regional connectivity. She highlighted that regardless of the development of future routes and the countries they traverse, Georgia's involvement is significant for regional cooperation.

The minister further explained that Georgia's strategic position, particularly its access to international markets via the Black Sea, is vital. This access is not only important for the South Caucasus region but also for Central Asian countries, bolstering Georgia's role in the development of regional transport and communication routes.
