Berlin: The opening ceremony of the "Loyalty to Trust" German summer camp for children of Azerbaijani martyrs was held in Berlin. The project is co-organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Germany, the "Zafar" Martyr Families Support Public Union, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) CJSC, the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora, and "Azerlotereya" OJSC.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the opening ceremony took place at the Azerbaijani Cultural Center in Berlin and began with a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs. Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Germany, Nasimi Aghayev, addressed the event, providing detailed information on the key priorities of Azerbaijan's diplomatic activity in Germany. He highlighted the current agenda of Azerbaijani-German cooperation and the prospects for the development of political, economic, cultural, and humanitarian relations between the two countries, along with the activities of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Germany.
Sevinj Alizade, Chairperson of the "Zafar" Martyr Families Support Public Union, emphasized that the project contributes to the intellectual and personal development of the children of martyrs. She noted that the camp helps them become more familiar with the international environment and enhances their communication skills.
The project, scheduled to run until July 9, aims to expand the knowledge and worldview of the children of martyrs. It seeks to familiarize them more closely with the international environment, support their personal development, and enrich their understanding of Azerbaijan's historical and cultural heritage.
