Baku: Relations between Azerbaijan and Iran have seen greater development over the past year, particularly through regular contacts between the presidents of the two countries, Speaker of Iran's Islamic Consultative Assembly Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said during a meeting with Speaker of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova in Baku.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Ghalibaf expressed gratitude for the steps taken by the Azerbaijani state and people during the war period, as well as for the humanitarian assistance provided. He emphasized that these actions were highly valued by the Iranian people.
