Baku: Azerbaijan has hosted one of the best COP events, according to Jens Nielsen, Executive Director of the Global Climate Fund. This commendation was made during the opening day of the 2nd Baku Climate Action Week (BCAW), as reported by APA-Economics.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Nielsen shared his extensive experience in climate negotiations, having participated in a total of 17 such events. He emphasized that Azerbaijan should be genuinely proud of the efforts it made last year in hosting the conference. Nielsen further highlighted the importance of sustainability and the development of green skills, underscoring that these goals require a long-term approach.
