Alongside this, the S and P 500 index experienced a fall of 0.28%, ending at 6,861.89 points, while the Nasdaq index declined by 0.31% to settle at 22,682.73 points. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, European stock markets also faced a downward trend. The FTSE 100 index in the United Kingdom dropped by 0.55%, closing at 10,627.04 points. Germany's DAX index saw a decrease of 0.93% to reach 25,043.57 points, and France's CAC 40 index fell by 0.36%, ending at 8,398.78 points. Furthermore, on a global scale, the euro showed a decrease in value against the U.S. dollar, depreciating by 0.18% to a rate of 1.1752 dollars.
