Global Stock Markets Experience Slight Declines Amid Economic Uncertainty

New york: Main index indicators of world stock markets showed minor declines across both the US and European trading platforms, reflecting ongoing economic uncertainties. In the US, the Dow Jones index saw a marginal decrease of 0.01%, settling at 49,442.56 points. Similarly, the S and P 500 index fell by 0.24% to reach 7,109.14 points, while the Nasdaq index decreased by 0.26%, closing at 24,404.39 points.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, European markets also experienced downturns, with the FTSE 100 index dropping by 0.55% to 10,609.08 points. Germany's DAX index reported a fall of 1.15% to 24,417.8 points, and France's CAC-40 index declined by 1.12%, ending the day at 8,331.05 points.

In the currency markets, the euro saw a slight depreciation against the US dollar, decreasing by 0.1% to 1.1776 dollars. This decline in the euro's value adds to the prevailing economic concerns affecting global markets.
