Baku: Gold was the top in the list of non-oil products export in 2025, according to the January edition of the 'Export Review' magazine published by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, gold exports amounted to $326.2 million, making it the leading non-oil sector export. The export of tomatoes followed in second place with $192.5 million, and carbamide secured the third position with $170.8 million.
In December 2025, dates emerged as the leading non-oil sector export with a value of $36.4 million. Gold came next with $29.2 million, while shelled forest hazelnuts held the third spot at $20.3 million.
Throughout the past year, non-oil sector exports reached $1.2 billion to the Russian Federation, $597.3 million to Trkiye, $347.9 million to Georgia, $347.8 million to Switzerland, and $201 million to Ukraine.
In December 2025 alone, non-oil sector exports were $96.3 million to the Russian Federation, $51.2 million to Trkiye, $41.4 million to Georgia, $32.9 million to Switzerland, and $10.8 million to Ukraine.
